The Irish property market is presently booming. As a consequence of the increased demands on existing systems, the new national Auctioneering and Property Services Apprenticeship was launched last month in Whitehall College of Further Education, Coláiste Caoimhin, by Education and Skills Minster, Joe McHugh TD.
Auctioneering & Property Services Apprenticeship Programme
The Auctioneering and Property Services apprenticeship is a nationally accredited two year programme designed to meet employers’ needs in the Auctioneering, Estate Agency, Property Management and Property Letting sector. The apprenticeship has been developed by the City of Dublin Education and Training Board in partnership with the property services industry. On successful completion of the programme apprentices will gain a Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) level 6 Advanced Certificate in Property Services. They will also be eligible to apply for a Property Services Regulatory Authority (PSRA) licence. Apprentices are employed in numerous locations around the country and spend four days a week in the workplace and attend college one day per week.
