eir Apprenticeship Programme
Commencing in November, successful applicants will enjoy the benefits of a full college experience through TU Dublin Tallaght while studying for a Nationally Accredited Level 6 Higher Certificate in Telecommunications and Data Networks (Apprenticeship Programme).
Apprentices will receive instrumental on the job training where they will benefit from invaluable practical experience working in the field on the eir network and obtain first-hand experience in the maintenance and repair of eir’s network, providing the highest levels of service to customers. Apprentices will have the opportunity to work with a variety of mentors (Buddy Technicians). Working under the supervision and guidance of some of the most experienced professionals in the country, apprentices will learn to hone the skills required to have a successful career in eir.
Qualification & Skills Requirements:
- Leaving Certificate OR Equivalent, must have passed a minimum of 6 subjects (must include a pass in maths)
- Flexibility – you will be required to be based in/ move to different locations around the country
- Enthusiastic and committed
- Eager and willing to learn new skills
- Strong communication skills
- Passionate about technology
- Strong problem solving skills
- Team player
N.B Please note: To be eligible for this programme you must have a full driving licence on or before August 2019.
