Skills to Compete – Construction Site Ready aims to provide learners with a knowledge and competence to work as general operative or a labourer on a construction site.
This one week course is run at DDLETB Tallaght Training Centre
Skills to Compete – Construction Site Ready
- To introduce the learner to health and safety and its importance in the workplace.
- Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and competencies to manually lift and move objects and loads safely.
- Demonstrate the skills, knowledge and attitudes that will enable learners to work on construction sites without being a danger to themselves or others.
- Plan and achieve realistic work goals.
- Understand teamwork, outlining the values, roles and procedures of teams.
